Yeah. Senior year. It's fucking fun so far. I have a working scanner and working Photoshop and stuff now so there'll be updates every week pretty much of the projects I'm doing. Also- gonna see motherfuckin' MASTODON AND DETHKLOK on the day before Halloween. I'm praying that it's as spectacular as my tiny little mind is imagining it to be. All this enthusiasm and somehow I'm not bummed out about being single. Huh.

ROCK ON, GENGHIS KHAN is up done and ready to view! That internship was a blast, but for now, I gotta prepare to go back to Brooklyn!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh man. There's gonna be some shit up in here! I've got 8 pages of comics done from my internship and I'm basically just cleaning them up before I post them.

My classes are a mixture of horrible and hilarious. My Psych teacher let us watch Pulp Fiction and listen to AC/DC to discuss anger and the male psyche. My Web Design teacher doesn't know what the fuck he's doing. I want to punch him in the face.

I went to two more concerts (Cheap Trick, Def Leppard, Poison and then REO Speedwagon, Styx, .38 Special) and they were great, but I forgot how fucking expensive they were. So now I'm in the hole about $50. Whatever. It's fun.

Also- if anybody can give me more info than I already have about graduate programs for art education or fine arts, let me know. It's greatly appreciated.

Man, it's been a while since I last posted on this thing. Whew! Here we go:

-I have a kickass internship for the summer back home in Albany! It's with this local graphic design company called Status Hat that are getting funding to do a rock opera about Genghis Khan being in a metal band- and it's with puppets. And I get to do the webcomic that's tied to it! Fuck yeah!

-Oil painting is fun......for some reason. Really- I can't figure out why I'm enjoying it so much, but I'm going to try and do a decent oil painting over the summer.

-My final projects and such are coming along quite nicely, but the next few days will be incredibly painful in terms of workload. After my final critiques, I will have stuff posted. It's stuff that I'm quite proud of, but I don't have a scanner at my disposal big enough to capture them.

-The Dragonball movie was awesome. Like, genuinely awesome and not "so bad that it's awesome" awesome. Go see it.

-I finally got to see one of my favorite bands of all time in concert (Lamb Of God) and it was easily the greatest show I've ever been to. I am also going to a shitload of awesome concerts this summer: Styx, REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Poison and Def Leopard on the 4th of July weekend! Then there's Metallica in November and Muse in September! I'm almost broke from the ticket purchases but these concerts will be amazing!

-I'm singing and playing guitar in a straight up nerd rock band called The Radness with my friend Brett on bass and whoever we can find that has a drum kit. We're basically going to sound like Weezer or Motion City Soundtrack, but with really goofy lyrics about comic books and how much we love 80's speed metal.

1) My new scanner doesn't work and it'll be until the middle of March when I get the replacement. Thanks a fuckton, Best Buy. Fucking dicks.

2) I have stuff done- it just isn't in digital form yet. That's mainly due to my laziness, busy-ness and the fact that the school's real good scanners are in constant use by the tarts in the Graphic Design department. And yes, they are tarts. I felt like being British in my insults.

3) I've been looking for summer internships here in the city, but it looks like I'm probably going to wind up working in Albany or Saratoga near home for the summer. The last thing I need is to be stuck with my family anymore.

4) I've made a commitment to myself to not drink as much as I used to since I could tell I might be developing a problem. Now I basically just drink when I'm at bars, which is hardly ever, but it's doing me some good.
